Walthers Mainline 910-46026 HO 50' ACF Boxcar - BN #214288

Bring 1970s-and-later operations to life on your HO layout with this Walthers Mainline 50' ACF Exterior Post Dreadnaught End Plate B Boxcar, item 910-46026, decorated for Burlington Northern #214288. When suitable boxcars grew scarce, railroads large and small expanded their fleets with roomy 50' American Car & Foundry Exterior Post Plate B cars. First built in 1971, these early cars carried the well-known Dreadnaught end and went on to spend many years hauling general freight of every kind.

This ready-to-run model of Burlington Northern #214288 is factory assembled and built to work hard, capturing the correct Plate B proportions with 41' 3" truck centers, a 15' 2" height, and a 10' 8" width. It rides on correct 33" RP-25 metal wheelsets and comes fitted with Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers, so item 910-46026 is ready to switch or roll in a road freight the moment it leaves the box. These road numbers are a one-time run, so add Burlington Northern #214288 to your roster while it lasts.
