Update your 1970s-and-later HO scale layout with the Walthers Mainline 910-46009 50' ACF Exterior Post Boxcar with Dreadnaught ends and Plate B clearances. Facing a shortage of usable boxcars, railroads large and small expanded their fleets with these larger 50' American Car & Foundry cars beginning in 1971. This early version kept the popular Dreadnaught end and went on to carry general freight for many years.

Lettered for Chicago & North Western as road number 155499, item 910-46009 arrives fully assembled and ready for service. It captures the prototype's Dreadnaught ends, Stanray diagonal panel roof, and correct Plate B dimensions with 41' 3" truck centers, a height of 15' 2", and a width of 10' 8". Correct 33" RP-25 metal wheelsets and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers are included, and this is a one-time run of these road numbers.
