Walthers Mainline 910-41454 HO 40' Wood Stock Car - CB&Q #52582

Before the 1970s the 40' wood stock car was a common sight on nearly every North American railroad, and this Walthers Mainline HO scale version brings that livestock traffic back to your layout. Cars like these hauled cattle and other livestock from range stockyards to packing houses from the 1920s into the 1960s, making the model a great choice for steam and early diesel era freight consists. Item 910-41454 is painted and lettered for Chicago, Burlington & Quincy as #52582, ready to run straight from the box.

Authentic slatted wood sides and outside braced wood ends capture the look of the prototype, while a detailed underbody carries realistic brake gear. Correct 33" turned metal wheelsets and Proto MAX magnetic metal knuckle couplers keep 910-41454 tracking and coupling smoothly, and the car pairs well with the Walthers Cornerstone Stock Yard (933-3047) and Champion Packing Co. (933-3048) kits, both sold separately.
