Walthers Mainline 910-30321 HO 85' Budd Baggage-RPO Rock Island

The Walthers Mainline 910-30321 is an HO scale 85' Budd Baggage-Railway Post Office decorated for Rock Island, a ready to run car that adds mail handling and extra baggage capacity to a fluted-side streamliner. On the prototype, the RPO end was staffed by U.S. Post Office clerks who sorted mail while the train was underway, while the opposite end carried luggage and express packages.

Modeled on the fluted-side cars run by many North American railroads, the 910-30321 keeps the correct 85' prototype length and rolls on 36" turned metal RP-25 wheelsets. It arrives fully assembled with a detailed body, full interior and tinted window glazing, and is fitted with Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers. The car handles 18" and larger radius curves, and molded starter points let you add wire grab irons, with LED interior lighting offered separately.
