Piko 38508 G Scale Clean Machine Green Track Cleaning Loco

The Piko 38508 Clean Machine Green is a G Scale GE 25-Ton diesel switcher configured as a track-cleaning locomotive, finished in green. Like the standard Clean Machine, the 38508 uses spring-loaded pads with a long-lasting, highly effective mesh cleaning pad to polish rails at normal track speed.

This is the non-R/C version: a power switch on the bottom of the chassis controls forward, stop, and reverse and is easy to reach while the loco is on the track, which makes it simple to run two Clean Machines coupled back-to-back for faster cleaning. The 38508 is powered exclusively by six AAA batteries (not included, high-capacity rechargeables recommended) and keeps the detailed GE 25-Ton body with operating directional lighting, a realistic cab interior, a 5-pole precision can-type ball-bearing motor, factory-applied handrails and steps, and hook-and-loop couplers ready for Kadee knuckle couplers. The minimum recommended radius is 600mm (23.6 inches).
