This version has a digital DCC decoder and sound installed using a Piko SmartSound Decoder SP 5.1, and it will run on analog DC although not all sound functions may be available there. Detailing includes molded and applied lights, windshield wipers, handrails, horn, bumpers, and exhaust vents, plus a detailed engine room interior with lighting and an engineer figure. The 37593 rides on hard-chrome plated ball-bearing wheels with hook-and-loop couplers, needs a minimum radius of 600mm (23.6 in), and is made in Germany.
