Sound is produced only during digital DCC operation, so the BR 118 will still run on analog DC power but will remain silent in that mode. Made in Germany, the 36227 is a satisfying upgrade for operators who want their BR 118 to sound as realistic as it looks. Together with the required decoder, it enriches the experience of large scale running.
Key Features:
- G Scale sound kit from Piko for the BR 118

- Requires a Piko 36125 decoder
- Weather resistant speaker for outdoor use
- Reproduces authentic digitally recorded sounds
- Produces sound on digital DCC operation only
- Runs on analog DC but without sound in that mode
- Made in Germany
