Kadee 906 G Scale Type E Centerset Couplers w/ Body Mount Gearbox

The Kadee 906 is a complete G Scale AAR Type "E" coupler set featuring New Generation Type "E" head straight centerset shank couplers with #910 body-mount gearboxes and lids, in black. The plastic couplers include a hidden knuckle spring for trouble-free operation and a simple drop-in design. Because they are plastic, Kadee notes it is not recommended to use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal gearbox, avoiding electrical crossover and shorting. Part 906 works in place of #830, #906R and #930 G Scale straight centerset couplers.

Each package of part 906 includes two #900-type New Generation Type "E" straight centerset shank couplers, two #910 body-mount gearboxes and lids, three #878 centering springs, four #4 x 3/4" screws, and four #4 x 1" screws. The plastic coupler has a 13/16" shank length (back of the head to the gearbox center hole) with a centerset offset, and the #910 gearbox measures 1 21/32"L x 15/32"W x 13/32"H. Mounting height is 1 19/64", centerline 1 1/8", and trip pin height 1/8". Made in the U.S.A. and recommended for use with the #980 G Scale coupler height gauge.
