Kadee 802 S Scale Plastic Couplers & Gearboxes, Black, 2 Pairs

The Kadee 802 is a two-pair S scale coupler set featuring black plastic couplers supplied complete with black plastic gearboxes and lids. Made in the U.S.A., the 802 is a simple drop-in design that works in place of #808 couplers and includes 0-48 mounting screws. It uses the #846 S scale centering spring and #847 S scale knuckle springs.

Each 802 package includes 4 #802 plastic couplers in black, 4 #802 plastic gearboxes and lids in black, 6 #846 S scale centering springs, 2 extra #847 S scale knuckle springs, 8 0-48 x 3/8 screws, and 8 0-48 x 1/4 screws. The coupler has a 9/32" centerset shank measured from the back of the head to the center hole of the draft gearbox, and the gearbox measures 37/64"L x 3/8"W x 11/64"H. Mounting height is 19/32", centerline is 17/32", and trip pin height is 1/16"; 0-48 or 0-80 screws are most commonly used. Verify installation with the #814 S scale coupler height gauge.
