Kadee 720 HOn3 3'7" Arch Bar HGC 2-Piece Trucks 1 Pair

The Kadee 720 is an HOn3-Scale 3' 7" (3 ft 7 in) arch bar truck in the two-piece "HGC" design. HGC stands for High Gravity Compound, a high-tech plastic and metal composite that weighs nearly as much as all-metal trucks while offering more detail and an easy-to-assemble split-bolster layout. Arch bar trucks were commonly used in the 1890s and early 1900s and were allowed in interchange service until about 1941. Once installed, these #720 trucks deliver a free-rolling, flexible, equalizing ride similar to Kadee #716 and #717 fully sprung truck kits.

The #720 uses a two-piece split-bolster design for efficient equalization and reduced axle friction, riding on 26" ribbed-back metal RP-25 wheels (#718) with insulated plastic axles. Three assorted center bushing adapters are included for mounting to various cars such as Blackstone and Micro-Trains, using original screws or 0-48 self-tapping, 0-80 machine screws, or 1mm to 1.25mm metric equivalents (screws not included). Assembly is required and one pair comes per package, made in the U.S.A. under patent 7,434,518 B2. The package includes 4 #720 truck sideframes, 3 assorted mounting bushings, and 4 #718 26" ribbed freight wheelsets.
