Faller 161675 HO/N Scale Car System Stop Section

The Faller 161675 Stop Section is a functional Car System accessory for HO (1:87) and N (1:160) scale layouts that brings a self-driving vehicle to a precise, controlled stop on command. It is not a building kit but a ready-to-connect electrical module: an electric coil beneath the road generates a magnetic field that trips a reed switch inside the passing vehicle, interrupting the accumulator (battery) voltage so the vehicle halts exactly where you want it - at a crossing, a traffic light, or a station stop.

Operating on a 22 V DC connection with a current draw of about 160 mA, item 161675 is the key building block for signal- and timetable-controlled traffic. Faller recommends pairing it with the Transformer (art. 180699) and the Traffic-Control unit (art. 161651) for fully automated sequences. Compatible with both HO and N gauge Car System roads, this stop section lets modelers and diorama builders add convincing, repeatable start-stop movement to their animated street scenes.
