These six-axle haulers entered service in 1984, and many are still hard at work in main line and regional service for their original owners and shortlines. This version is set up as a standard DC locomotive.

The 910-9772 shares the same drive found in Walthers Proto locomotives, with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, 14:1 helical gears, dual machined-brass flywheels, all-wheel drive and electrical pickup, and a heavy die-cast metal chassis. A 21-pin DCC interface makes conversion easy, and a factory-installed ESU sound version is offered separately. Details include open grating on the steps, constant and directional LED headlights, molded starter points for grab irons (EMD SD50/60 Diesel Detail Kit #910-256 sold separately), RP-25 metal wheels, and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers. This is a limited, one-time run of these road numbers.

Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) EMD SD60 with early EMD Spartan cab
- Item number 910-9772 from Walthers Mainline
- Decorated for Soo Line #6044
- Standard DC with 21-pin DCC interface for easy conversion
- Walthers Proto-style drive: 5-pole skew-wound motor, 14:1 helical gears, dual brass flywheels
- All-wheel drive and electrical pickup with heavy die-cast metal chassis
- Constant and directional LED headlights and open step grating
- Molded starter points for grab irons (EMD SD50/60 Detail Kit #910-256 sold separately)
- RP-25 metal wheels and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers
- Limited-edition, one-time run
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0558/5223/6962/files/3eb73c58-2e71-540d-a099-fcb8bf0d02a0.jpg?v=1790524908
https://www.alpinerailworks.com/products/walthers-mainline-910-9772-ho-scale-emd-sd60-spartan-cab-standard-dc-soo-line-6044
