Introduced in 1949 as railroads dieselized in earnest, the F7 handled both freight and passenger assignments and appeared in a rainbow of paint schemes across North America, with many units serving into the 1980s. This set pairs an A unit and a B unit, both powered, for plenty of pulling capacity right out of the box.

The 910-11400 arrives ready to run with factory-installed handrails and is set up for Standard DC, with a 21-pin plug for easy DCC conversion. The A unit carries an LED Mars Light in the upper position and a headlight in the lower position. Both units share the same drive used in Walthers Proto locomotives, featuring a five-pole skew-wound motor, 14:1 gear ratio, helical-cut gears for quiet running and smooth multiple-unit operation, all-wheel drive and electrical pickup, dual machined brass flywheels, and a heavy die cast metal chassis. Correct size RP-25 metal wheels and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers complete the set.

Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) ready-to-run diesel locomotives, fully assembled
- Item 910-11400, Walthers Mainline brand
- EMD F7 A-B set lettered for Bessemer & Lake Erie #715A/715B
- Powered A and B units with factory-installed handrails
- Standard DC with 21-pin plug for easy DCC conversion
- LED Mars Light over headlight on the A unit
- Five-pole skew-wound motor, 14:1 gears, dual brass flywheels, die cast chassis
- Correct size RP-25 metal wheels and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0558/5223/6962/files/ca602b64-1fe3-5166-8503-e7747818650a.jpg?v=1790922691
https://www.alpinerailworks.com/products/walthers-mainline-910-11400-ho-scale-emd-f7-a-b-set-standard-dc-ble-715a-715b
